PLC SPORTS NO BODY CHECKING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
WELCOME TO THE PLC SPORTS NO BODY CHECKING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2012. The tournament begins on Friday April 8th and concludes on Sunday April 13th. Games will be played at the Nottawasaga Resort Arena on Highway 89 in Alliston and at the Innisfil Recreation Centre on Highway 11 at Innisfil Beach Road. Divisions include: Novice, Atom, Pee Wee, Bantam, Midget and Juvenile. The tournament registration form will be posted soon.

NEW FLOORBALL LEAGUE
PLC SPORTS is please to announce the formation of the Simcoe County Dragons Floorball Club. What is Floorball? Floorball is a fast paced, exciting, safe and low cost type of indoor hockey. At first glance, it resembles floor hockey or ball hockey but is played with advanced lightweight sticks and rules that make the game play much safer. Floorball can be played practically anywhere and is ideal for hockey players as dry land training.
Floorball is played by millions of people around the world in 50 countries. The world record for the fastest floorball shot is 204 kph.Floorball is expected to be an Olympic Sport in the 2020 Olympics. There are more floorball players in Finland, Sweden, Switzerland and the Czech Republic. Professional Floorball League operate in Finland, Sweden and Switzerland.
Registration is now open to all players from 5 years of age to 17 years. The divisions will from Novice through midget. Play will begin in mid October 2011 at local school gym's in Barrie. Monday nights will be at Ardagh Bluffs P.S. for the Bantam division, Tuesday night will also be at Ardagh Bluffs for the midget division, Wednesday night will be at Warnica P.S. for the Novice division, Thursday nights will be at Hewitts Creek P.S. for the pee wee division and Friday night will be at Assicinak P.S. for the atom division.
